New Commercial Connection: Here is what you need.

If a Registered Business is requesting a new connection, the following is required:

• A Registered Certificate of Business
• Letter on Business Letterhead requesting the service

If a service will be in the name of a new or existing Registered Company the following is required:

For a new Company: 
• Certificate of Incorporation
• Notice of Company Directors
• Notice of Company Secretary 
• Letter on Company Letterhead requesting the service

For an existing Company:
• Annual Returns of the Company
• Certificate of continuance
• Current list of directors


A Chief Electrical Inspector’s Certificate of Approval: When the property has been re-inspected and recertified, this will be issued by the Electrical Department. Your business/building must be wired by a licensed electrician and inspected by the Electrical Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Port Services & Transportation. The Inspector’s Certificate of Approval must be presented at the time of application.

A Valid National Photo ID card: This includes a valid National ID card or Driver’s License for nationals and passport for non-nationals.

A Land Register: This should be no older than 30 days and can be requested at the Land Registry Section at the Ministry of Physical Development.

A Security Deposit: This is based on an estimated two months consumption of electricity.
